(COOPERATION FOR THE EDUCATION IN THE COMMUNITY OF THE COUNTRIES OF PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE: BRAZIL, ANGOLA AND GREEN HANDLE)

RESUMO: No presente artigo iremos analisar as relações entre três países que fazem parte da Comunidade dos Países de Língua Portuguesa, fundada em 1996. Nosso foco será estará sobre a cooperação para o desenvolvimento da educação entre Brasil/Angola e Brasil/Cabo Verde. Optamos por realizar um breve relato sobre o percurso dos sistemas de ensino nos países africanos aqui analisados, para então partir para a cooperação bilateral, ratificada por acordos que antecedem a criação da comunidade e que são reforçados e redimencionados pela entrada em cena da CPLP e pelos horizontes que ela abriu, no que tange ao desenvolvimento social e econômico dos países membros.

ABSTRACT: In this article we examine the relations of three countries that are part of the CPLP (Community of Portuguese Language Countries), founded in 1996. Our focus is on cooperation for the evolvement of the education between Brazil and Angolaand Brazil and Cape Verde. We decided to build up a brief report on the path of education in the chosen African countries, and then analyze the bilateral cooperation, ratified by agreements prior to establishment of the community. These agreements were strengthened by the admission to the CPLP and got a new dimension with the group and the possibilities presented by the group, in terms of social and economic development of the member countries.
